FAQs

Can I get early checkin or late checkout?

We always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late checktout requests but it’s not always possible if we have a same day turnover. Please contact us the day before arrival or departure to  request an early checkin or late checkout.

Do you offer self-checkin?

Yes, most of our guests prefer self-checkin. Door codes will be sent to you before your arrival.

Do you offer housekeeping?

These are self-catered accommodations. Fresh linens or towels will be delivered upon request. Cleaning can be arranged for an extra charge.

What's the best way to get there from the airport?

If you are renting a car, enter ‘Treasure Palms Aruba’ into your map program. If you don’t have a data plan, download maps.me before leaving the airport.  Taxis are plentiful at the airport. Ask the drive to take you to Salina Cerca 9B. A taxi will cost about $35-$40 USD.

Do you have on-site parking?

Yes, there is a parking area around the corner. You can also park on the curb around the property. If you are renting the 2-bedroom villa, you can park inside the gate.

What is provided?

We provide bed linens, pillows, bath and beach towels, toilet paper, a face cloth, body wash, two-in-one shampoo/conditioner, dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen has a cooktop, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, and a gas cooktop.  We also provide an iron, a small ironing board, and a hair dryer. If anything is missing, please let us know. There is also a BBQ.

Can I drink the tap water?

Aruba’s tap water is safe to drink.

Water comes from a desalination plant that purifies ocean water. It is desalinated, purified and sanitized. The water distribution system is managed in a way that does not allow the infiltration of bacteria such as e-coli

Water is metered and is expensive in Aruba. We ask you to please conserve water.

Will my cellphone work in Aruba?

There are no land line telephones in the apartment. To make phone calls, you will need to use your personal mobile phone using a roaming plan from your own carrier or by purchasing a prepaid SIM card or eSIM from SETAR or DIGICELL from one of their stores or an authorized dealer.

Many people and businesses in Aruba use WhatsApp to make voice calls and to send instant messages. WhatsApp calls can be made over wifi and do not require a cellular connection. Facebook is also very popular in Aruba and many businesses have a Facebook page instead of a stand alone website.

Can I walk to the beach from your property?

Yes. The closest beach is Palm Beach. Walking to the beach near the Ritz-Carlton takes about 20 minutes. During the drier months, it’s possible to cut through the salina and get there in less time.

Does Aruba have Uber?

Aruba does not have Uber, Lift, or any ride-sharing services.  Licensed taxis can be called using Whatsapp.  Taxis prefer cash (US dollars or Aruban Florins) and some do not accept credit cards.
