Aruba has two golf courses:
- Tierra del Sol, 18 hole par 71. This course at the north end of the island, a short drive from the Palm Beach area. Tierra del Sol was recently purchased by resort operator Iberostar and course conditions have improved under the new management. Aruba’s desert climate means that this course can get very dry and the fairways are sometimes completely burned out. On the other hand, its rare that it rains so much that you’ll have to cancel. Being at the norther end of the island, the wind can be challenging. This course has a driving range. www.tierradelsol.com
- The Divi Links, 9 hole par 36. This course is located at the south end of Eagle Beach and is a lot greener than Tierra del Sol and features several water hazards. www.divilinks.com
