One of the easiest spots to snorkel in Aruba is right here on Palm Beach. At the very south end of Palm Beach, you can see a few fish just a few feet from shore. If you swim out a bit, you will be greeted by a school of yellow and black striped fish called Sergeant Majors.
Go into the water across from the police station and immediately near the shore there will be some rocks. There are usually a few fish here and the water is not even waist-deep. A perfect spot for kids or for people who don’t want to swim far from shore.
Note: the police station is scheduled to be demolished in early 2025.
Swim further out to an outcropping of rocks and you will be greeted by the Sergeant Majors. Use caution as this area is outside of the swimming safety area.
